CityFARM’s mission is to help save the world by furthering the urban agriculture movement. We strive to improve our community by educating the public about the benefits of urban farming and transforming open spaces into aesthetically pleasing edible gardens. We are determined to provide the highest quality of work and environmentally sound business practices for our customers. We will also create jobs for the traditionally underemployed persons in urban spaces.
Fighting against hunger one CityFARM at a time. In order to help alleviate hunger, we will donate fresh fruit and vegetables grown at Adams Street Farm to Food Gatherers and other non-profits that are dedicated to feeding the hungry. We believe that urban farming can improve the environment while promoting healthy food alternatives and improving food security in our community. In keeping with our social mission, for every urban farm we install on your property we will install one of the same size on our property and donate the food. This food will help to fight against hunger in Washtenaw County.
Adams Street Farm is located at 103 N. Adams, and it is more than just a demonstration garden. All the food produced here is donated to help alleviate hunger in Washtenaw County. Adams Street Farm demonstrates our three sized garden packages as well as our other customizable options such as a compost bin, rain barrel, and sustainable options for your yard. As our mission states, for every urban farm we install on your property we will install one of the same size at Adams Street Farm. We maintain the donation gardens with the help of volunteers and Interns. We always welcome volunteers! For more information see Get Involved. We would like to thank Beal Properties, LLC who donated the land at Adams Street Farm.
